More about our two speakers: 

Eleanor Gill, Director, RegenerateBC
Eleanor is a local Edgemont resident and mother of two school age children. She has working knowledge of most areas of climate solutions, through 15+ years of professional work in the environmental consulting industry, as well as her volunteer work at RegenerateBC (formerly called Drawdown BC). https://drawdownbc.org/home/
Eleanor has experience with community organizing and climate action, having co-led the Edgemont Village Plastic Bag Free initiative in 2019-2020 along with Ocean Ambassadors Canada, and is currently involved in a refrigerants management initiative in partnership with Toronto Drawdown and the Environmental Investigative Agency. 
Eleanor currently sits on the District of North Vancouver's Climate Action Advisory Committee. When she's not working or volunteering her time, she enjoys hiking, reading, cooking, skiing, and travelling. 

Rev. Ron Berezan is an organic farmer, permaculture teacher and community food security consultant living on the Tla’amin traditional territory/Powell River. He is a Deacon at St. David and St. Paul’s Anglican church where he developed the Sycamore Commons Community Permaculture project with a group of community members.  https://www.stdavidandstpaul.com/pages/sycamore-commons 

Ron studies Eco-theology at St. Stephen’s College in Edmonton and shares a ministry in Creation Care, eco-justice and Creation infused spirituality. http://www.theurbanfarmer.ca/theurbanfarmer
