Christians around the world are invited to give particular attention to praying and caring for God’s creation as part of the global Season of Creation, observed from September 1 to October 4 every year.
 
General Synod 2019 passed a resolution adopting the Season of Creation in the Anglican Church of Canada as a time of prayer, education, and action and encouraging dioceses and parishes to participate.
We will be using an experimental liturgy at St. Catherine’s for the month of September, culminating in a pet and children’s stuff blessing on St. Francis day transferred to September 29, 2019.
During this month we also encourage you to:
1. Enjoy the outdoors with friends and engage in conversation about ways to care for our earth
2. Lower your plastic use.*
