Saint Catherine’s has partnered with Harvest Project, to help address food emergencies in the North Shore and is set to start on February 14th, Wednesday at 2 p.m.

Our Food Emergency Program is designed to provide immediate assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity in the North Shore, provide essential sustenance, as well as cultivate a sense of belonging and shared responsibility within our community. At the core of our Food Emergency Initiative is a simple yet powerful idea: neighbours helping neighbours.

If you are interested in getting to know more about this, you may email Marymil at community_engagement@shaw.ca

On January 23, Tuesday, the group of volunteers will have a meeting in person or on Zoom, in preparation for the Emergency Food Program launching.

You may also help in distributing the posters to spread the word, especially to those in need. Posters are available in the church office.
