Sacraments & Life Events

Life with God is a journey, marked by sacred moments of beginning, blessing, and letting go. Through baptism, confirmation, marriage, and funerals, we gather to celebrate, commit, and commend — trusting God’s presence through every season of life.

  • Baptism — A joyful welcome into the household of faith. In baptism, we are named and claimed as God’s own, and begin a lifelong journey of growing into that grace.
  • Confirmation — An opportunity to affirm and renew baptismal promises. Confirmation is for teens and adults who wish to take a mature step of faith, reaffirming their commitment to Christ within the Anglican tradition.
  • Marriage — A sacred covenant of love and promise, open to all couples who seek God’s blessing.
  • Funerals — A prayerful space to grieve, give thanks, and entrust loved ones to God’s eternal care.

Rev. Sarah and the St. Catherine’s community are also here for the in-between moments — the quieter thresholds that make up a lifetime: celebrating a first bicycle ride, a graduation, a new career, a shift into retirement, or the move to senior living. The difficult and the joyful. Whatever chapter you find yourself in, you don’t walk it alone.

If you’d like to learn more about any of these sacraments or pastoral moments, please reach out. We would be honoured to walk with you.

“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” — John 10:10
