Kim Mead wanted to celebrate her 50th year walking the Camino, a pilgrimage across northern Spain, but who wants to leave Canada during a pandemic!
So Kim has decided to walk from the North Shore to St Catherine's to take part in the August 8th, parking lot service....
Her mission and yours if you choose to accept:
"The Baden Powel trail is a 42km trail, stretching from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove. I plan to divide the route into four sections over four days, finishing with the leg from Lynn Valley to Grouse Mountain, then continuing down to St. Catherine’s. The hike will be challenging at times, particularly the first leg from Horseshoe Bay to Cypress Mountain parking lot, but I would love some company along the way, whether for the entire distance or for a leg or two"
Keeping in mind COVID distancing at all times....
