- Jesus leaves the disciples in order that they may learn to trust God for themselves and mature into full human beings who will bring love and peace to those around them.
- Jesus calls the disciples to be in it together in community - practicing the grace of forgiveness.
- And so it is with us - faith united with doubt worked out in community.
