The Parish Council of St Catherine's, along with other churches in our Diocese, have signed the open letter calling on the BC government to confront the climate emergency.

In the wake of this summer’s deadly heatwaves, wildfires and droughts, the provincial government needs to take transformative action to match the scale of the crisis we are facing. B.C.’s current climate plan is not enough to limit warming to 1.5°C and will not keep us safe from the worst impacts of climate change. This open letter calls on the B.C. government to implement 10 actions that are immediately required to confront the climate emergency.

This letter is intended for organizations only. Individuals will have other opportunities to add their support.
