Community Thanksgiving Meal - Thank you!

Thank you! Thank you!

A sincere and heartfelt thank you to all parishioners and volunteers from the greater community who helped to make this year’s Community Thanksgiving Meal a success. We served 127 people a delicious turkey lunch with all the trimmings, plus pie for dessert. The church was beautifully decorated (the photo is of the vegetable and fruit arrangement beneath the altar).

Thank you to those who rallied to the request for crockpots!

We are also very grateful to businesses that donated items free of charge: Delanys for the coffee, COBS for the buns, Northshore Community Services for tea, milk, cream and extra tea pots.

And we couldn’t put on such a feast without the kind generosity of Chuck Chamberlain at the Tomahawk BBQ. He provides us with turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce, all at cost.

I am so appreciative of all the volunteers who pitched in to make this event happen.
