Creation Season - Fresh Expression Service

On Thursday September 2nd, the Liturgical Advisory Committee (Worship Committee) planned our first Fresh Expression Service for September 19th at 10 am. 

We will be using a service form familiar to Anglican Worship: 

• Gathering
• Proclamation of the Word
• Prayer
• Communion
• Sending Out

For Creation Season, we will be introducing themes of thanksgiving, lament, prayer for the earth and calls to action. 

We would like to incorporate meaningful poetry, readings and art into the service. Do you have any to share on these themes?

We are also looking for examples of ways that communities are taking action to mitigate climate change.
