"This year’s recipient of the Friends of St. Catherine’s pin joined our parish as a child but left and, fortunately for us, returned later in her life.
She has been a very active participant in all aspects of parish life from outreach to administration to music. She has taught Sunday School and participated in the life of the St. Catherine’s Childcare Society. She helped to initiate and lead several of our most valued outreach activities such as our Community Thanksgiving Dinner and our support for Turning Point Recovery Society. She has also supported our programming and hospitality committees. We all enjoy hearing her sing as part of Joyful Voice. She has amazing organizational skills, a wonderful sense of humour, phenomenal energy, and is always willing to jump in to help and support our community. On a personal note, I am ever so grateful that she agreed to take on the role of our Envelope Secretary and for all her support over the past year as my fellow Warden.
