Rectory Update

You may have noticed lots of recent activity at our rectory house adjacent to the parking lot.  On September 1 the four young men who had been renting the rectory all moved to other digs.  Prior to this Ashkon and our summer student did a lot of work to get the yard cleared.  Since the move we’ve been doing some long-overdue painting, yard work, carpentry, a dishwasher replacement (the old one was broken) and minor repairs to get the house in the best possible shape for another tenant, and we have commenced advertising the place.  We also need a new hot water tank, which will be professionally installed next week.  

Billy Garton has done house tours for 5 prospective families so far but no new tenant yet.  If you know of anyone interested in a very large 5 bedroom/3 bathroom house right next to Edgemont Village and close to great schools, shops, transit and recreation facilities, feel free to put them in touch with the office or Billy Garton who is looking after the new tenant search process.   Given its size and location it’s an ideal home for a group of students or young adults starting out.  Asking rent is currently $5,400 per month plus utilities.
