Following on Heather Luccock’s previous study on the “Letters to the Seven Churches”, you are invited to 3 more sessions where Heather will discuss readings from the Book of Revelation. Meet in the Chapel after church/ bring a snack. There is a sign-up clipboard in the church lobby.
Sunday, May 10: is the first of our continuing look at the Book of Revelation . We will try and unpack the imagery of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. How has this image impacted western culture and spirituality through art, literature, music and even movies? Does it cause us to pause and think on daily life? We’ll meet in the Chapel after church; bring a snack!
Sunday, May 17: this week, we’ll look at the magnificent, uplifting vision of a New Heaven and a New Earth. John writes: “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them.”
Sunday, May 24: “I am the Alpha and the Omega.” Heather Luccock will lead an overall discussion on the passages we have read and discuss what it means for the Voice to say "I am the beginning and the end." Even if you have missed a session, there is still lots to discover in the final, most hopeful chapter of all!
