Season of Creation:
The Christian Year has also turned a page. We have begun the Season of Creation. A time when Christians around the world are invited to give particular attention to praying and caring for God’s creation. Sundays from September 13th to October 4th, 2020, our liturgy will be focused on this theme. The Gathering Prayer, Kyrie Eleison (Christ have mercy) and Eucharistic Prayer have been thematically selected. In addition, our first reading each week is derived from one of the Mystics: Hildegard of Bingen, Julian of Norwhich, Meister Eckhart and St Francis of Assisi.
We will be administering communion of one-kind for the first time since March 15th, 2020. Please register for this Sunday (Sept 13th) if you intend to be present in-person, bring a mask to wear and continue to follow the COVID safety plan on arriving at the church.
On October 4th, 2020 we will be blessing the animals in our lives (past and present) remotely, please send photographs in to the office by email to Natasha: firstname.lastname@example.org.
