We are very excited to welcome the following people into part-time, contract positions at St. Catherine's:

Erik Nieweler (Community Engagement Coordinator)

"Hello! My name is Erik Nieweler and I am happy to be here as the new Community Engagement Coordinator for St Catherine's. I have lived in North Vancouver, near Edgemont Village for my whole life and am very excited to be involved with St Catherine's in a new capacity, many years after I went to preschool here. My hope for this pilot project is to help St Catherine's engage with community stakeholders and organizations to enrich the experiences and opportunities for those who call St Catherine's home."

Rob Gloor (Musician and Choir Director)

Rev. Sharon writes: "We are so grateful to Rob for all that he has  done in this past year in his interim role to regroup the singers at St Catherine’s into a Sunday morning choir. Following a consultative process with the choir and musicians, Parish Council are delighted to offer Rob the position of St Catherine’s permanent Musician and Choir Director. Join me in welcoming Rob to this position."

Ashkon Vahedi (Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator)

"My name is Ashkon Vahedi. Some of you may recognize me from the summer when I was a summer student this past summer. Now I have been asked to join the St Catherine's community as the new facilities and maintenance coordinator   I look forward to engaging with you and enriching the spirit of St. Catherine's. My future looks bright. I will endeavor to learn and grow all my skills and always looks festive."

Shaunti Bains (Sunday School Teacher)

"My name is Shaunti, and I am in my fourth year of biomedical engineering at UBC. I was first hired by St. Catherine’s for the summer as a maintenance assistant. At the end of those two months, it was time to say goodbye to the watering, painting, and scrubbing. Fortunately, however, it wasn’t time to say goodbye to all the wonderful people I met. I am thrilled to now continue my involvement at St. Catherine’s as a Sunday School teacher. I hope, in this position, to foster a lasting love for God and neighbour. Thank you, all for welcoming me!"
