Matthew 28: 1-10
Easter 2020

“There is a gap in between what was and is yet to be. The unknown and the mystery that is to come. It is the silence before an earthquake, when everything trembles sensing the power that is coming and how all will be upheavel and opening. It is the silence before a tsunami wave comes over the sea, gathering all the water into its embrace, racing to the shore all at once. It is the silence before a tornado roars into view, picking up everything in its wake.”

"It is silence before… and now, it is even silence after… The tomb is empty and God walks the world. There is darkness ahead, but now there is always another reality, no matter what we must face, no matter what people do to one another or the earth. We are the people of resurrection."
