The Long, Long Night of Hope is rooted in the statement “Do God’s love”.
We believe everyone deserves a home, everyone deserves food and clothing and everyone deserves hope. This year, in particular, is difficult as many have lost their jobs due to COVID. Homelessness is not hopelessness. Be the hope!
This year will look a bit different.
On Saturday February 27th everyone involved in the St. Catherine’s, St. John’s and Kelowna (yes Kelowna!) sleep out will find new and unique ways to sleep rough. Donna Lawrence in Kelowna will be sleeping on her balcony, some will sleep in cars, some in their yard and some, well you’ll just have to wait and see!
We invite you to join us virtually.
For more information please check out the Long, Long Night of Hope Website.
We welcome any fundraising donations through the St. Catherine’s Long, Long Night of Hope website - you can use this Link
or drop the donation at the church office.
Please make any cheques out to St. Catherine’s with a note identifying it for the Long, Long Night of Hope. Please keep those sleeping out in your prayers.
