Everything we have — our time, our gifts, our resources — comes from God.

At St. Catherine’s, giving is not only about sustaining a building or a budget; it’s a way of participating in God’s renewing work in this community and beyond. Your generosity makes possible the worship, care, and outreach that help others encounter Christ’s love.

Ways to Give

You are invited to share in the life and ministry of St. Catherine’s through financial gifts and offerings. Each contribution, large or small, helps our parish extend a wide welcome in the name of Jesus.

How to Give

  • Online: Give securely through CanadaHelps. You may make a one-time or recurring gift. (A small processing fee is retained)
  • In Person: Offerings can be placed in the plate during worship.
  • By Mail or E-Transfer: Contact the parish office for details.

Thank you for supporting the shared life of this community.

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
— Matthew 6:21

Stewardship

As Christians, we believe our lives, our relationships, our talents, and the world itself belong first to God. We are invited to be stewards — caretakers of all that has been entrusted to us.

At St. Catherine’s, stewardship is a joyful response to God’s generosity.

We offer our time, talent, treasure, and terrain in gratitude — serving one another and the world God loves. We give not primarily to meet a budget, but to nurture the vision God is showing us for the flourishing of this community and the wider world.

In giving, we ourselves are changed: we learn to see God in one another, and in the ordinary beauty of daily life.

If you’d like to explore ways of offering your gifts or becoming more involved, please speak with Rev. Sarah or contact the parish office.

“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8

Refurbishment & Renewal

St. Catherine’s Anglican Church is undertaking an ambitious renovation and renewal project — not just to repair and refresh our aging, Mid-century Modern building, but to transform it into a sustainable, resilient, and welcoming space for generations to come.

Our Objectives

  • Community Engagement: Ensure the church remains an accessible hub for worship, gatherings, learning, and community partnerships.
  • Sustainability: Retrofit the building with energy-efficient technologies that reduce our carbon footprint and operational costs, embodying care for creation.
  • Historical Preservation: Honour the cultural and architectural integrity of our church while modernizing its structure and reducing operating costs.

This project reflects our faith in action — a tangible sign of stewardship, hope, and commitment to the neighbourhood we serve.

Seize the Day Campaign

This is our time — our moment!

St. Catherine’s has been given a unique opportunity to secure its future for decades to come. With the full support of our Diocese and a gifted leadership team, we are implementing a bold plan to reconnect our parish with the neighbourhood, restore our beloved church facility, and re-imagine our future as a sustainable faith community on the North Shore.

We are called to Seize the Day — to respond with courage and gratitude to the gifts God has placed before us. Together, we can ensure that St. Catherine’s remains a place of prayer, welcome, and service for generations yet to come.

“Now to God who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine.”
— Ephesians 3:20
